The SOUTH TEXAS DISTRICT ASSOCIATION
BENEVOLENT WING was created through the vision of our early leaders. The
Benevolent Wing has served the district through many generations. Its
legacy of support has proven its worth and value at a most critical time
in the lives of many of our constituent families. It has the full
endorsement and support of this administration and staff and should
continue to provide its vital benefit to its enrolled recipients.
Listed below are the qualifications for membership in the
BENEVOLENT WING OF SOUTH TEXAS DISTRICT ASSOCIATION. If you have any

1. Members of South Texas District Association are eligible to join
The Benevolent Wing. You can join at any time during the four (4) District
Board Meetings, the District Congress Meeting or during the District
Annual Session. A membership card will be issued with the name of your beneficiary..
2. The Benevolent Wing is not an insurance policy.
3. The Benevolent Wing is a financial benefactor assistance
program provided to members of the South Texas District association
only. This benefit is presented to the ‘active’ member’s listed
beneficiary at the time of death of the member. The listed beneficiary
will receive the endorsed amount.
4. The enrollment fee is $20.00 per year.
5. At the death of a member, the beneficiary of the cardholder must contact the
Benevolent Wing Committee listed here. After receiving proper information a
check will be issued to the beneficiary listed on the member card.
6. The Benevolent Wing will pay the sum of $500.00 to the
beneficiary.
7. At any time your church is no longer affiliated with this District your
membership with the BENEVOLENT WING of the South Texas District Association
will become inactive. Each pastor is encouraged to appoint a person to
act as a liaison between the Church and the South Texas District Association
Benevolent Committee. Please inform one of the committee members of this
person as well as their contact information.
